Physical Education

The physical education program at Ilan Ramon Day School consists of sequentially planned experiences and activities that challenge and encourage students to optimally develop mental, social, emotional and physical skills. Developing both physical skills and self-esteem are of equal importance in creating a confident, healthy, physically adept student. Athletic competencies and coordination are emphasized, fostering the students’ positive self-image. The performance objectives, types of activities and the methods of instruction are structured to meet the developmental stage of each learner.

It is our aim that every student benefit from the program by exhibiting some measurable progress at his/her own rate of development and that the physical education program be enjoyable and success-oriented, thereby promoting a life-long interest in being physically fit.

Our new sport complex provides track facilities, a soccer field and basketball courts.
