September – December
• Request Admissions Packet
• Make appointment to Tour Ilan Ramon Day School
• Return Application with Application Fee and Parent Authorization ASAP
• Request Transcripts and Teacher Recommendations be sent to Ilan Ramon Day School

January
• Application forms due January 31st
(applications continue to be accepted based on available spaces)
• Set up an Interview and/or Screening

February – April
• Acceptance letters are mailed
• Return Contract and Deposit ASAP to hold your child’s spot

Application Procedure

Application

You should complete the grade appropriate application forms (General Family Information

Form) per the enclosed “check list” and return it to the admissions office as soon as possible,

along with the application fee.

Touring

Visiting the school is a wonderful experience and a great way to get an idea of what exciting

things go on everyday at Ilan Ramon. Call the Admissions office for an appointment

Interview (grades 1-5)

All applicants are required to have an informal interview with the teacher. This is a warm,

friendly, get to know you thirty minutes.

Kindergarten Screening

All applicants for Kindergarten are required to attend a small group screening where we

observe them at fine motor, gross motor, and socialization centers. Applicants will participate

in varied activities in a warm, comfortable, and fun environment in order to provide

information about their readiness and appropriateness for our school.

1st through 5th grade applicants will be assessed in an individual or group screening for their

grade level readiness.

Admissions Decisions Committee

Each applicant file is assessed for acceptance by a committee of educators and administrators

Financial Aid

Tuition support is available. Please check the appropriate box on the application to receive

financial aid information by mail. Tuition assistance is based on eligibility, need, and the

school’s available funds.

Late Applicants

Late applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis. We encourage you to submit

your paperwork as early as possible.
