AT HOME IN THE SEA (K/1) —

This interactive class offers a general overview of what lives in the sea and includes a trip to the touch tank with live animals.

TREASURES IN THE TIDE POOLS (2/3)

Explore what makes the tide pools such an incredible habitat as we work together to find out what adaptations tide pool animals use to survive in the pounding surf, check out a gigantic lobster molt, spit out our stomachs like a sea star, and use scientific inquiry to discover the unknown. The students also get a trip to the touch tank with live animals.

NO GUTS, NO GLORY: FISH DISSECTION (4/5)

During this lesson, even the timid are transformed into doctors! Learn about the many different types of fish, following up with an actual dissection of an ocean fish. This class also covers external and internal fish anatomy.
