This week in celebration of Computer Science Week, all students in our elementary participated in the Hour of Code! The Hour of Code is a global movement by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org, reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming. Hour of Code is an initiative to get students to spend an hour of time learning to program/code. It is designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics. Our Hour of Code is a statement that Ilan Ramon Day School is ready to teach these foundational 21st century skills. For more information on this global event, go to https://code.org/
