Dear IRDS Parents,
This week at IRDS has been both heart wrenching and heart warming. The depth of pain and sorrow we feel at the tragic loss of Gidi has been layered with such incredible compassion, kindness and love from our beautiful community. As Rabbi Camras said on Wednesday night, we truly are a Kehilah Kedosha, a Holy Community.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all of the empathy and support you've shared with all of us, our teachers, and our community. We are holding all of our precious little ones a little closer, a little tighter and a little longer as we try to hold each other up as well. We commend our exceptional faculty and staff who continue to so lovingly care for their students even as their hearts are broken. We are so proud of their professionalism and ability to always find joy with the children.
As we move into Shabbat I know you share the hope that peace will soon be with each and every one of us.
